A delegation of chefs from China met the Chinese community in Milan. For the occasion together with Chicco Cerea I performed with a masterclass the best of the Italian tradition at the stove.
The Autumn Festival is one of the most important moments in the Chinese calendar, second only to the Spring Festival (or Chinese New Year). A relevant moment also in Italy, more precisely in Milan, at the Restaurant Xier. For the occasion, in fact, the Chinese community of Milan, increasingly rich and aware of its identity, hosted 30 of the best chefs from as many as 20 different cities throughout China – among them a chef who is part of the presidential staff.
Euro-Toques Italy once again demonstrated not only the values behind the association – a cuisine aware of traditions, attentive to the most modern techniques of processing and cooking, an eye on the quality of the raw material, the fight against food waste and the conditions of climate change and environmental impact, but also declined them so that they could be effectively understood by cultures other than our own , like the Chinese one.
